Job Vacancy: Quality Control Supervisor

We are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to manage a team of quality controllers allocated to different departments while following extensive methodologies and procedures to guarantee the company's standards of quality. You will work closely with the production and mechanical supervisors while under the direction of our Operations Manager. The job is mostly a floor job and since we're a charcoal factory, it will be dusty.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Understanding the responsibility that comes with this job, particularly to a company that values the wellbeing of its customers and its reputation as a matter of honor and above all else.
- Selecting and developing QCs
- Leading a team of QCs and assigning tasks to identify quality flaws as early as possible in the work process
- Deciding upon formulas
- Approving/Rejecting raw material quality upon receiving and completing necessary reports
- Ensuring only quality approved goods are packed for satisfying orders
- Developing SOPs to ensure high efficiency and productivity
- Coordinating with production and mechanical teams to guarantee prompt maintenance and minimum downtime
- Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
- Undergoing R&D projects continuously to make sure we stay on top of the industry at all times
- Improving testing procedures and control methodologies
- Preparing various reports and undergoing occasional projects 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Attained a Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills 
• Highly reliable, loyal, and diligent
• Healthy, physically strong, and fit to endure long standing times and moving from one department to another
• Apt for working in a dusty environment due to the nature of charcoal production
• 2+ years of work experience (experience in the industry is a plus)
• Fluent in English
• Able to lead a team to plan/coordinate order satisfaction and meet KPIS
• Able to derive connections and conclusions based on scientific analysis
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Clever, highly motivated, and with a high sense of initiative and creativity
• Very detail-oriented and accurate in providing reliable data
• Proactive team player with no competitiveness and a desire to learn, help, and support​
• Very positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Preferably living in Karanganyar or Solo area or willing to accomodate
